About Taste Buds
Taste Buds is a healthy eating App which informs customers of pesticides on produce.
The App aims to serve people who are concerned about food safety.
Customers could see the pesticides record by scanning the QR code associated with products.
It also allows users to know how to wash fruits and vegetables properly.
Do you really trust the foods you eat?
Have you ever experienced a moment that in a grocery store, you want to buy some fruits but you have no idea whether they have pesticides remains? You spot some fruits with organic food labels but you are not sure how they are judged without specific data showed to you.
Taste Buds helps customers by bridging the gap between users and food-producing areas so that users could get more information about the products they want to buy.

To design the mobile App, we first roughed out wireframes and UI flow diagrams. I then designed the user interface. The specs were updated to fit an iPhone 8 screen
Home Page
The fruits and vegetable images showed on Home Page change every day according to past scanning records.
Scan QR Code & Pesticides Record
Users could tap the green code button on home page to start scanning. The Scanning page allows user to scanning QR code associated with foods. After scanning, the page would jump to pesticides record page automatically. The production page also tells users tips to wash foods.
Menu & Favorite Pesticides Record
Menu leads users to their collections and records.
Users could collect some pesticides records to show to their families and friends.
Favorite Article & Scan Record
Taste Buds would push daily articles about organic foods knowledge. Users could collect their favorite articles and read them anytime.
Users could also find their scan record and the time that they scanned QR code.

User Testing Journey
Vivian is a stay-at-home mother who has a three years old son. She wants her son to eat fresh and organic foods every day. With Taste Buds, she could know more information about the foods she wants to buy and thus delighted to select products.
